My story.

I love a good story.

The story of my career started at the age of 19 when, on a whim, I replied to a craigslist ad that read:

“Cameraman wanted; come run with the bulls, all expenses paid.”

From that moment, I was hooked.

In 2011, I began filming on my first long-form documentary, Butterfly Girl, a Rock and Roll coming-of-age story about a teenage girl with a life-threatening disease. In 2014, Butterfly Girl had its world premiere as an official selection at SXSW. It was a hit with audiences and critics alike; as it made its way through the festival circuit it was nominated for and received several coveted Audience Awards and garnished rave reviews from several significant publications, including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and Huffington Post.

Butterfly Girl was purchased by Hulu in a streaming deal later that year.

I have since worked on narrative features, documentaries, true crime series, reality, cable news, and everything in between. My work has appeared on CBS, Discovery ID, CNN, YoutubeTV, and FOX, just to name a few.

I still check craigslist postings from time to time just for the hell of it.

let’s tell a story.
